BEST POSTER AWARDS 3 X 500 EURO EACH

500 Euro will be awarded at the Annual Meeting for the following 3 categories of poster:

1. Best clinical investigation poster
2. Best anesthesia related basic science or laboratory investigation poster
3. Best clinical investigation poster or laboratory investigation poster presented by a resident in anesthesia .

Posters may already have been presented at other scientific meeting during 12 months preceding the annual meeting.

The usable surface of the display panels measures 120 cm height by 90 cm width.
The posters will be ranked based on originality of content as well as on their innovative and scientific merit in the field of anesthesiology and related sciences .

An abstract of the poster (if applicable, accompanied by a proof of acceptance from another meeting) must be submitted to the secretary of the SARB, Anesthesia Research, UZ. KULeuven, Herestraat 49, B-3000 Leuven no later than September 15th.

Abstracts must respect the format required for the SARB Research Meeting.
The abstracts will be submitted for evaluation to the non-Belgian faculty of the Annual Meeting and the members of the scientific committee.

The authors of the winning best posters will be notified before the Annual Meeting .
If the best clinical or the best basic scientific poster has been obtained by a resident, only 2 awards will be attributed.

The awards will only be attributed on condition that the winner is present at the Annual Meeting.
The applicant first author needs to be a member of the SARB .
