Belgian Society of Anaesthesia and Resuscitation likes movement!

Since 2000, SARB has been trying to find an ideal place for the annual congress.
This year, we have selected “De Montil Congress Center” in Affligem.
This location is situated in the center of Belgium, is easy accessible by car and offers all the appropriate features for such an event with 500 participants.

The 2006 theme is: “New techniques changing our daily practice”

To improve the organisation, two innovating ideas have been added to the program this year. We offer our major sponsors the opportunity to organise a mini industrial symposium during lunch time. In the afternoon, there will be 4 interactive presentations of “Problem Based Learning Discussion”. During the morning sessions you will find information on these complex cases in the boots of our major sponsors. The resident and the anaesthesiologist who finds the most appropriate solution to these difficult cases will receive a Personal Data Assistant as a reward at the end of the day.

We hope that you will enjoy the 2006 SARB congress and that you will appreciate our new ideas. Remember that participation is free for SARB members but registration is required before the end of October.
